L&T hopes to book orders worth a trillion by end of fiscal

Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro said on Friday that the company's current order book stands between Rs70,000 crore and Rs75,000 crore.
 
"The company's order book may touch Rs1 trillion (one lakh crore) by the end of this financial year," L&T director and president (operations) R N Mukhija told reporters on the sidelines of a function in Mumbai.

"The company's sales would grow at 14-15 per cent in fiscal 2010," Mukhija said, adding that the operating margin would increase to 14 per cent by March 2010.
