LG joins hands with designer Christian Siriano to launch LG Lotus

New Delhi: LG Mobile Phones, USA, will partner fashion designer Christian Siriano for the launch of the LG Lotus, its latest designer handset model. The new mobile phone will debut at the New York City Fashion Week on 11 September, siad LG.
The stylish LG Lotus phone is a fashionable phone that comes with a trendy design along with rich multimedia features and functionalities.
According to LG, the handset received the red dot design award, one of the largest and most renowned design competitions in the world, for its original form factor. It is a square handset with a full QWERTY keyboard ideal for text messaging, email and instant messaging.
The phone also features a 2 megapixel camera and camcorder, music player with external controls and a microSD memory post for additional storage.
The LG Lotus is available in two attractive color options - textured purple and satin black.
The pewter gray silk jersey scarf is signature Siriano and a version of the design will be worn by the designer himself at his first major fashion. The LG Lotus will also play in integral role at the show as attendees will utilise the handset's photo capability to take photographs of the collection and send them through picture messaging to appear on large LG screens above the runway throughout the evening.
Siriano who first became famous by winning the season IV of the highly rated reality show "Project Runway," is scheduled to unveil his custom scarf and fall 2008 collection at various red carpet events and upscale malls across the country, following his show at New York.
