New Delhi: Kinetic Motor Company, India's largest manufacturer of modern scooters, announced today that it will be offering a two-year warranty on its popular scooters — the Zoom and the recent success Nova.

This is the first time that a scooter company is offering extended warranty period to its customers. So Kinetic is the only scooter manufacturer to offer this benefit, while other companies offer up to one-year of warranty. The new warranty policy covers a period of two years and a distance of 20,000 kms from the date of purchase.

Says Kinetic joint managing director Sulajja Firodia Motwani: “It gives me great pleasure to be introducing this benefit to our scooter customers. At Kinetic, we take pride in offering innovative ways in which we can offer additional value to our customers.

“Through this initiative, Kinetic is offering additional value to our customers and is setting trends in the market. An extended warranty period assures the customer of superior after-sales service, and this demonstrates the confidence that we have in the quality and reliability of our products.“

The Pune-based Kinetic Motor Company is India's pioneer and largest manufacturer of modern scooters. The company makes a range of scooters from 65cc to 115cc engines and contemporary styling with popular brand names like the Nova, Zoom, Style, Marvel and the Zing. It is also a leading exporter of vehicles across the globe.

The company had recently launched the Nova; film star Sunil Shetty did the honours. The Nova has been much appreciated by the market for its smooth ride, fuel-efficiency and elegant styling. The company has sold over 30,000 Novas since its launch earlier this year, and is targeting a sale of over 55,000 vehicles in its first year of launch.
