Bangalore: Infosys Technologies and its former global sales head Phaneesh Murthy are reported to have agreed to participate in an off-the-court resolution of the sexual harassment suit filed by a former employee, Reka Maximovitch, in order to avoid a public trial.

CNBC India has reported that it has obtained a release from the counsel to Maximovitch, former executive assistant to Murthy, which says that the resolution effort is scheduled to take place on 6 September 2002 in the US.

Until resolution efforts are complete, neither party will be willing to comment on the lawsuit and its details. An Infosys statement said: “The matter is pending before the court and we are unable to give any further comments at this point.“
