3i Infotech Ltd has introduced an e-business collaboration suite for health insurance carriers and third-party administrators. The product, Premia collaborator is pre-configured as a suite of interactive web portals on top of a carrier's legacy benefits administration system, for use by employers, members, providers and brokers.
The product, the company claims, simplifies health benefits management administration for employers and brokers by providing web capabilities such as online enrolments, premium billing, quotations, commissions statements and reports and automates traditionally a labour intensive practice.
Electronic attachments are used to handle customer queries, suggestions and grievances reducing paper, postage and manual handing costs.
