Hyundai launches its SUV Santa Fe in India

Hyundai Motor India Limited today added to its product portfolio by unveiling the Santa Fe in the SUV segment in India at an introductory price of Rs20,95,000 (2WD) and Rs22,95,000 (4WD) Ex-Showroom, New Delhi.

Santa Fe will be available with 2.2L CRDi engine that delivers a maximum power of 197PS/4000 rpm and an torque of 42.9 kgm/1800~2500rpm. Available in six speed manual transmission, with an option of 2WD and 4WD, the engine delivers fuel mileage of 14.66 kmpl.

H W Park, MD and CEO, Hyundai Motor India Limited , said, ''Globally, Santa Fe has already sold over 20 lakh units since its launch in June 2000 and we are confident that in India, Santa Fe will give us a competitive edge in the SUV segment and offer our customers the best in terms of luxury and performance.''

In India, Santa Fe will be imported as CBU (completely built units) from South Korea, and will be available in four colours.

 Sante Fe features an array of luxurious features including  leather upholstery, blue instrument lighting, seven passenger seating, safety and other convenience features.

 The SUV comes with body-coloured front grille, rugged bumper design, twin exhausts, rear spoiler with high mounted stop lamp, high contrast rear combination lamps, heated outside mirrors with side repeaters and chrome accent door handles.
