HCL Infosystems launches new range of ME tablets

HCL Infosystems today unveiled its new range of ME Tablets powered by the Android OS. 

Available at a starting price of Rs14,990, the tablets will be available in three variants, the AE7, AM7 and AP10. The ME tablets will feature HCL's one touch service facility, HCL Touch and will also come with localised applications besides global ones.

''We have put in significant amount of research to understand the Indian user need and have also further strengthened our backend systems to support the product through its lifecycle,'' said Harsh Chitale, CEO, HCL Infosystems.

The highest priced HCL's ME tablets would retail at Rs32,990.

The tablets will be available in stores in Delhi and will go national by end of March this year, the company said.
