Goodlass Nerolac''s Q3 Gross Profit up

Mumbai: Goodlass Nerolac Paints Limited, has announced its unaudited financial results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2003. The company has registered gross sales of Rs 245.97 crore in Q3 of the current financial year, an increase of 14.54 per cent as compared to Rs 214.74 crore of the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The company has posted a profit before tax of Rs 25.90 crore for the current quarter as against Rs 16.30 crore of the previous year, registering a 59 per cent increase in the profit before tax. The profit after tax has increased by 51 per cent to Rs 16.94 crore in the current Q3 compared to Rs 11.25 crore in the previous year's Q3.
On a cumulative basis, gross sales for the nine months ended 31st December 2003, at Rs 703.91 crore, an increase of 17 per cent, compared to the gross sales of the corresponding period of the previous year, which was at Rs 600.20 crore. Net profit for the first nine months of 2003-04 were Rs 44.65 crore, up by 43 per cent compared to Rs 31.19 crore of the corresponding period of the previous year.
