GMR Infrastructure incorporates subsidiary companies in Mauritius & India

Mumbai:  GMR Infrastructure Ltd (GIL) has informed BSE about the incorporation of a 100 per cent subsidiary company in Mauritius, named GMR Infrastructure (Mauritius) Ltd.

The company has also advised BSE about the incorporation of an Indian subsidiary, in association with its 100 per cent  subsidiary GMR Energy Ltd, which holds the largest stake in the newly formed company, called GMR Kamalanga Energy Ltd.

GMR Energy Limited is setting up a 1,050 megawatt, thermal power plant based on coal at Kamalanga in the district of Dhenkanal in Orissa. It plans to use the captive coal block allocations by the Orissa government exclusively for this power project.
