D-Link Q1 net rises by 18%

Mumbai: D-Link (India) Ltd has posted excellent results for the quarter ended 30 June 2003.

The gross turnover for the period stood at Rs 4,534 lakh (Rs 4,189 lakh), registering a growth of 8.24 per cent over the corresponding period in the previous year.

The net profit for the quarter rose sharply by 18.48 per cent and stood at Rs 681.38 lakh (Rs 575.10 lakh).

The company''s software division at Bangalore has started in-house development of intellectual property for products to be manufactured by the company.

The company continues to launch new products keeping pace with technological development and has a healthy order-book position.
