Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Tiffin to be back after 13 years

The Cadbury Dairy Milk Tiffin, which debuted in 1937, and was pulled out in 2003, is making a comeback.
The raisin and biscuit-filled chocolate bar would be available for a limited time starting from 1 June.
Cadbury confirmed that tiffin-lovers would be able to get 95g bars for £1.49 through the summer.
Cadbury stopped making the tiffin bars in 1972, but brought it back in 1985, befoe withdrawing it again in 2003.
Cadbury told The Independent that the Dairy Milk Tiffin was discontinued in April 2003 under a major re-launch effort for Cadbury Dairy Milk.
However, according to Matthew Williams, marketing director at Mondelez International, which owns the Cadbury brand, the Tiffin bar was such a huge success that consumers had asked for its return on social media over the years, the report said.
''We know consumers are looking for new tastes, experiences and texture so, with its classic recipe, we believe this limited edition tablet will deliver an exciting eating experience,'' Williams said.
The chocolate maker had recently launched a range of new products. It added two new medley bars to its Dairy Milk range, with ingredients including dark chocolate, fudge piece and berries.
However, tiffin bars had always been available to consumers in Ireland.
