BMW launched its flagship Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) X7 in India on Thursday. The model is produced at BMW’s group plant in Chennai.

“The first-ever BMW X7 is a statement of the luxury class - the flagship of the ‘X’ range,” said Dr. Hans-Christian Baertels, President (act.), BMW Group India. “It combines the modernity and exclusivity of a luxury sedan with the agile driving and spaciousness of a sports activity vehicle.”
The BMW X7 builds on the  comfort, handling, safety and technology of all the previous BMW X Sport Activity Vehicle model lines that have been produced.
The 2019 BMW X7 offers standard three row seating for 7 with optional second-row Captain’s Chairs offering a more exclusive seating arrangement for 6. Standard two-axle air suspension, 21-inch alloy wheels and advanced driver assistance systems ensure that the all-new BMW X7 offers style, driver driver and passenger comfort with all-weather and all-terrain capability.
He described the vehicle as big and bold and with an incredible on-road presence. “It opens up a brand new dimension in luxurious driving pleasure and is designed to elevate every moment of the journey. The first-class comfort this car delivers is absolutely unparalleled. With the BMW X7, the possibilities are truly limitless.”
At 5151 mm in length, 2,000 mm wide and 1,805 mm tall, and with a wheelbase of 3,105 mm, the X7 displays harmonious proportions and establishes itself as the new head of the BMW X model family.
The vehicle comes in two models – BMW X7 xDrive30d Design Pure Excellence Signature and BMW X7 xDrive40i (CBU) – both priced at Rs98.9 lakh.
