Blow Plast''s profit up 194 pc

Mumbai: Blow Plast Limited has announced their audited annual results for the year ended March 31, 2004.
The company registered a turnover of Rs240.42 crore for FY 2004 as compared to Rs236.69 crore in the previous year. It maintained its market share in the branded segment, with the soft luggage and personal product division registering impressive growth.
The company witnessed a growth of 194 per cent in its profit after tax from Rs 3.78 crore last year to Rs11.11 crore. This was mainly due to the increase in sales and rigid cost reduction measures undertaken by the company across the organisation.
Blow Plast has announced a dividend of 20 per cent as against 15 per cent in the previous year.
