Bharti Airtel launches smart data pack

Bharti Airtel, India's largest telecom operator by subscribers and revenue, has launched new smart packs for international roaming that offer free incoming calls and provide upto 200 per cent more data benefits than competing packs, the company said today.
''At Airtel, our constant endeavor is to bring better value and convenience to our customers through innovative product solutions. Our research has shown that when it comes to international roaming, the customer is looking for the convenience of carrying the same number without having to worry about billing shocks,'' said Srinivasan Gopalan, Director–Consumer Business at Bharti Airtel (India & South Asia).
''Our new international roaming Smart Packs are aimed addressing this need gap and set a new industry benchmark,'' he added.
Customers can activate the pack through the Airtel website, myAirtel app and customer contact centers among others.
