BenQ launches two new short throw projectors

New Delhi: BenQ India Private Limited, a part of the Taiwanese firm, BenQ Corporation after it was spun-ofrf from Acer, announced the launch of its short throw projector series, today in india. The two new models - the MP512 ST and MP522 ST have additional chosen features, which distinguish each model as ideal solutions for both home and office use.
The short throw projector series facilitates projection from a short distance so that limited space is not a constraint for big-screen viewing pleasure. Unlike regular projectors, the new BenQ short throw projectors can be used in small meeting rooms and halls, thereby making it suitable for use in departmental stores, showcase displays, banks, hospitals and small business houses etc. The stylish, sleek snow-white design compliments any décor.
BenQ MP512 ST with two integrated 5-watt speakers, comprehensive connectivity including future-proof HDMI, 2200 ANSI lumens and 2500:1 contrast ratio, which makes it the perfect home entertainment companion. BenQ MP512 ST and MP522 ST projector's short-throw ratio lens projects a 55-inch picture from a distance of one metre with a throw ratio of 0.9:1, much more than standard throw projectors, which can project only approx 30-inch.
The projectors offer a wealth of convenience features including to its users such as presentation timer, quick auto search, quick cooling, panel key lock, security password and onscreen FAQs. In addition, wall colour correction, blackboard mode and 11 preset picture modes facilitate colour and image optimisation.
BenQ's short throw projector series is characterized by a long list of thoughtful features that make short throw projection brilliant and convenient. Common between both models, is Texas Instruments' digital light processing technology for sharper fine details, easy-to-read text and consistent, never-fade colors etc. To further enhance the display, colors are optimised by an advanced 6-segment 'Golden Ratio' color wheel and BrilliantColour technology, which boosts brightness by up to 50 per cent and drastically amplifies mid-tone hues.
