Ashian Herbex targets tobacco users with herbal products

Hyderabad: Ashian Herbex Limited, a natural health products company, has launched two new herbal products targeted at cigarette smokers and tobacco chewers.

The products launched by the company comprise two candies: Smoktime and Panntime. While Smoktime is a health candy and is useful for smokers who suffer from lung and throat-related problems, the latter is useful for tobacco chewers who usually suffer from mouth ulcers, tooth and gastric troubles.

According to the company, "Smoktime contains curcumin and amla, which relieve the smoker from mutogenisis (harmful adverse effects of smoking). Curcumin is a powerful anti-mutagen and anti-oxidant, which reduces the mutagen in smokers by 30 to 50 per cent. Amla is a natural vitamin C, which helps to improve their resistance power. These are ideal for smokers who are not in a position to give up their addiction."

The company adds, "Apart from curcumin and amla, Panntime contains ginger which provides relief to tobacco chewers. Amla improves body resistance while ginger regulates the gastro intestinal track. Panntime is an ideal candy for tobacco chewers to minimise the harmful effects of tobacco chewing."
