Air Sahara reduces rates

Kochi: Air Sahara has reduced fairs for various sectors . The flight fare on the Kochi-Mumbai sector will be Rs 5,999 and Kochi-Delhi will be Rs 12,115. This was disclosed by Tissan Thachankary, chairman of Royal Group, GSA of Air Sahara.

The fare will be further reduced to Rs 4,600 and Rs 8,825 for Kochi-Mumbai and Kochi-Delhi sectors respectively if the air tickets are booked between five and nine days days before travel, Thachankary added.

In another package, 'sixer-in-the-year' which is meant for foreigners and NRIs, a passenger can travel any six sectors or a six member group can travel on any one sector in the country, by paying $599. The ticket in this scheme will be valid for 3 months.

Another holiday package for the tourists to Sri Lanka, has also been introduced. In this package, two persons can go to Colombo from Chennai, stay there for four days and three nights and return to Chennai, by paying only Rs 31,000. The passengers availing this package can travel to Chennai from any part of the country in Air Sahara flights, free of charge and proceed to Colombo, Thachankary said.
