Naresh Gupta promoted to senior VP at Adobe Systems

Hyderabad: Naresh Gupta has been promoted to the position of senior vice president Adobe Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: ADBE) as part of the parent company's executive team at the company's headquarters in San Jose, California. He will be responsible for identifying emerging technology and business opportunities for Adobe.
Gupta joined Adobe in 1996 as a member of the corporate research group where his work resulted in five patent applications. In 1998, he was posted to India to begin building the Adobe research and development center and appointed managing director for Adobe Systems India Pvt. Ltd.
Gupta, a B.Tech in computer science from IIT, Kanpur (1988) did his MS and PHD from University of Maryland, College Park in 1993.
