ABB bags Rs 30-crore orders

Bangalore: ABB India has secured orders worth Rs 30 crore to provide automation solutions for steel and cement plants located in China, Morocco, Turkey and Bangladesh.

Says ABB India head (automation technologies division) Biplab Majumder: "These orders further reinforce ABB India's strategic thrust on exports. Our solutions are aimed at increasing efficiency and productivity at the above plants, thereby making our customers more competitive in an increasingly networked and globalised world."

In line with its global optimisation philosophy and the growing role of the Indian operations, ABB India has been designated as 'Regional Centre of Excellence' for metals and cement across Asia in order to leverage the high calibre of technical competence, domain expertise, vast experience base and competitive manufacturing presence.
