The Ananda Bazar Patrika Group will soon launch the Indian edition of US business magazine Fortune, which is among the top 3 US business publications along with BusinessWeek and Forbes.

ABP had entered into an arrangement with Time Warner almost two years ago to launch an Indian edition of Fortune magazine.

The Kolkata-based ABP Group has already begun hiring editorial staff for the launch of the fortnightly business magazine.

The ABP Group publishes The Telegraph, Anandabazar Patrika and BusinessWorld, among other titles.

The Fortune|Money Group of Time Inc. has recently launched country-specific edition of Fortune in China and Turkey.

Fortune will be the third major magazine to launch this year, after RPG Enterprises  launched Open in April and TV18 introduced Forbes in May.
