Infosys Q3 net rises 30.3 per cent to Rs2,372 crore

Infosys has reported a net (after-tax) profit of Rs2,372 crore for fiscal third quarter (October-December 2011-12) - a 33.3 per cent year-on-year growth and a sequential growth of 24.4 per cent.

Earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter ended 31 December 2011 was Rs41.51, up 33.3 per cent year-on-year and 24.4 per cent above the previous quarter's level.

Consolidated revenues for the quarter stood at Rs9,298 crore, up 30.8 per cent year-on-year and 14.8 per cent higher from the previous quarter.

The company expects its revenues to be in the range of Rs9,391 crore to Rs9,412 crore in the final quarter of the current financial year (January-March 2011-12) - a growth of 29.5 per cent to 29.8 per cent.

Earnings per share (EPS) is expected to grow 32.4 per cent year-on-year to Rs42.12 during the quarter.

For the fiscal year ending 31 March 2012, Infosys expects a 24.6-7 per cent growth to Rs34,273-34,294 crore while earnings per share (EPS) is expected to grow 23.2 per cent to Rs147.13.
