Idea showers AP subscribers with with bikes, gold coins as Diwali offer

Idea Cellular today launched a new offer for new and existing subscribers in Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of Diwali.

The mobile operator will give away gold coins, gold bars, cars, bikes, LCD TVs and mobile handsets to subscribers through its Kanaka Varshma offer.

Starting 15 October, pre-paid and post-paid  customers who buy a new Idea connection will get an assured gift of voice or VAS packs and will be eligible to win gold coins, daily, the company said in a statement.

New Idea subscribers will also get a chance to win bumper prizes such as 20 tola gold bar, Ford Figo cars, Bajaj Pulsar bikes, LG LCD TVs, other gold prizes, and Nokia phones.

Existing prepaid subscribers who recharge with Rs30 or more will get one assured gift and will become eligible to win daily gold coins, and other bumper prizes while Idea's postpaid subscribers, who increase their monthly bill amount by atleast 15 per cent during the promo period, over the previous bill, will be eligible for assured gifts and bumper prizes, the company added.

The Idea 'Kanaka Varsham' offer will make the festive season special for not only the 7 million Idea subscribers in AP who are already experiencing the best tariffs and network, but also all those mobile consumers who choose to connect with the Idea network this season,'' said  Subbaraman Iyer, chief operating officer, Andhra Pradesh, Idea Cellular.
