Wipro Technologies opens mobile computing lab in US

Wipro today inaugurated its mobile computing lab at its Atlanta strategic delivery centre in the United States, which will help it provide end-to-end mobile application lifecycle management.
''The launch of the Wipro mobile computing lab represents a milestone in our effort to build a mobile ecosystem to drive the development and launch of mobile applications and next-generation devices,'' said Sid Nair, chief sales and operations officer - North America, Wipro Technologies.
Established in late 2009, Wipro's Atlanta delivery centre serves as a hub of near-shore solutions for IT business outsourcing processes.
The lab will bring together leading mobile technologies that help US carriers plan and manage new releases, the company said in a statement.
Wipro provides research and development services, IT solutions and services, including systems integration, information systems outsourcing, package implementation, software application management, and datacenter managed services to corporations globally.
