Solar Nursery, Nandan Agro Farms in pact for Safed Musli

Chennai: The Chennai-based Solar Nursery, which is into the business of consulting and projects on gardening, organic farming, garden maintenance, manufacture and export of coir peat, vermicompost and organic manure, has entered into a pact with Nandan Agro Farms to promote Safed Musli in Tamil Nadu.

Safed Musli is among the 32 native plants approved by the Indian Medicinal Board for application in the market of health boosters, body toners and health rejuvenators. Solar Nursery will sell the seedlings to farmers for Rs 400 per kg. The farmers can sell the harvest to Nandan Agro or in the open market.
