Mahindra Finance has tied up with United India Insurance
Company to offer free personal accidental death insurance
cover on investment in their Friendly Fixed Deposit Scheme.
The
scheme is open to all those who either deposit fresh amounts
or renew their deposits that mature from 1 December 2001.
The insurance scheme is available to individuals from
the age of five to 75 years and the insurance
cover will be from the fixed deposit date till the date
of maturity.
The amount of insurance cover would depend on the deposit amount. If the deposit amount is between Rs 10,000 and Rs 21,000, the cover will be the same as the deposit amount. For deposits above Rs 21,000 the cover will be five times the deposit amount.
