Aptech bags major training order for 55 Uttaranchal State colleges

Mumbai: Aptech Computer Education, the flagship brand of the leading global IT training organisation Aptech Ltd, has announced that it has been selected by the Uttaranchal government for its prestigious IT empowerment project, Shikhar, which aims to provide IT training to students in 55 colleges across Uttaranchal. This tie-up will benefit over 1 lakh college students.

The memorandum of understanding was signed in the presence of Uttaranchal Chief Minister ND Tiwari by M Ramachandran, principal secretary (education), Uttaranchal government, and V Balasubramanian, executive director, Aptech.

Students across 55 Uttaranchal colleges will be able to study on Aptech's critically acclaimed and industry relevant curriculum, ACCP World Program, which is accepted globally and accredited by 15 universities worldwide. This programme enables a student to master the very latest technologies and prepare to face the challenges of the future workplace.

Says Balasubramanian: "This project aims to enhance employment opportunities for students passing out of these colleges by being trained on cutting edge technologies. Aptech will train students on its latest career course offering, ACCP World Program, which is offered simultaneously across 52 countries and has an internationally acclaimed curriculum on latest technologies."
