3i Infotech posts Rs2,587.48-cr revenue for FY 2011

Mumbai: Mumbai-based BPO and managed IT services provider 3i Infotech Limited has posted a Rs2,587.48 crore revenue for the year-ended 31 March 2011, representing a YoY growth of 4.8 per cent.

Hit by a decline of 10.4-per cent in transaction services business for the year, its growth  came from a 13.8-per cent rise in IT solutions. Teh company reported profit before interest, depreciation and tax is of Rs521.84 crores, representing a growth of 3.7 per cent over the previous year.

Profit after tax and before exceptional items and impact of discontinuing operations is at  Rs. 253.57 crore, as against Rs. 265.95 crore for the previous year

Due to the comppany having expanded its capital base by issuing additional shares through a QIP offering in April 2010, earnings per share (EPS) before exceptional items declined to Rs12.81 as compared to Rs17.21 in the previous year.

For the quarter ended 31 March 2011, revenue  stood at Rs653.46 crore as against Rs632.60 crores for the corresponding period of the previous year and Rs. 645.31 crores in the immediately preceding quarter.

On a year on year basis, revenue from IT Solutions grew by 23.1 per cent while revenue from transaction service business declined by 28.1 per cent.
