Aerodrome India 2008 exhibition and seminar opens from 10 April

Bangalore: The third edition of Aerodrome India, an international exhibition and seminar for airport infrastructure, security and airport operations in India, would be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from 10 April.
Spread across 6,000 square metres of exhibition space , the three-day event will see over 100 exhibitors from 18 countries, a 40 per cent increase over the previous edition, according to PDA Trade Fairs.
PDA Trade Fairs is organising the event jointly with the Airports Council International, Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries and the Aeronautical Society of India.
The three-day international seminar at Aerodrome India 2008, being organised concurrently with the exhibition, would address the overall theme "Sustainable strategies for consolidation and growth in the Indian civil aviation sector."
More than 50 industry professionals are expected to address the seminar.
Topics to be discussed at the seminar include development of dedicated cargo hubs and cargo airports, connectivity issues, airport security and operations, customer services and airport as economic gateways.
