Jet Airways to commence services on Kochi-Sharjah sector from 1 Sept

India's largest private carrier, by number of passengers carried, Jet Airways will launch daily services between the southern Indian city of Kochi and the emirate of Sharjah, beginning 1 September 2009. This will make it Jet's fourth daily service to the Gulf from Kochi, complementing the airline's existing daily services on the Kochi- Doha, Kuwait and Muscat sectors.

 The services will be launched with a state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Between 1 September-24 October 2009 and from 28 March-30 October 2010, flight 9W562 will depart Kochi at 1045 hrs, arriving in Sharjah at 1305 hrs. Flight 9W561 will then depart Sharjah at 1415 hrs, arriving in Kochi at 1945 hrs.

However, in the period 25 October 2009-27 March 2010, flight 9W562 will depart Kochi at 1045 hrs, arriving in Sharjah at 1325 hrs. Flight 9W561 will then depart Sharjah at 1425 hrs, arriving in Kochi at 1945 hrs.

Jet Airways currently flies to seven destinations in the Gulf including Kuwait, Bahrain, Muscat, Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Jeddah from several Indian cities.
