Jet Airways amongst world's top three airlines: Conde Nast Traveler survey

Conde Nast Traveler has announced that Jet Airways has been selected as one of the top three airlines in the world in its 2008 Readers Choice Awards survey. The announcement was made at a ceremony at New York's Public Library.
Jet Airways launched its North American service last summer with services originating from Mumbai/Delhi for New York's JFK and Newark airports. It subsequently added Toronto Pearson International and San Francisco International airports to its list of North American destinations.
Reacting to the Condé Nast Traveler selection, Naresh Goyal, chairman and founder, Jet Airways said: ''When we started transatlantic service, one of my goals was to be recognized as one of the world's top airlines within five years. Within 18 months, readers of Condé Nast Traveler – one of the world's most prestigious magazines -- have reached that conclusion. It is extremely gratifying that our dedication to quality and excellence has been recognized so quickly in the North American market.
