Air India's new Bangalore-Mumbai service offers seamless connectivity to international destinations

Bangalore: In an attempt to provide a more seamless non-stop flying experience between Bangalore and other international destinations, flag carrier Air India has unveiled a new Bangalore-Mumbai service that will commence operations from 26 October.

The new AI 623 flight will enable passengers from Bangalore to connect to various international destinations such as New York, Newark, London, Frankfurt and Chicago with greater ease, the airline said in a release here. The service, operated with Airbus 321 aircraft, would leave Bangalore at 2000 hrs and reach Mumbai International Airport at 2130 hrs daily enabling passengers from Bangalore to connect to various international destinations.

Air India has made necessary arrangements for through check-in of passenger baggage and issuance of boarding cards up to New York at Bangalore itself. Passengers will also be enabled to complete their customs and immigration formalities at Bangalore itself before boarding their flight.

On arrival at Mumbai, they will be received and facilitated through the transit lounge to the waiting non-stop flight.

Air India is the only airline to provide non-stop flying experience from Mumbai to New York, it said.
