Singapore Airlines voted ‘best airline’ by multiple surveys

Kuala Lumpur: Singapore Airlines has been voted as the 'best airline' for the 17th year running, by the 2008 Readers' Poll by leading travel magazine Business Traveller Asia-Pacific. It also won in four other categories in the annual poll, including best Asia-Pacific airline, best first class, best business class and best economy class.
Singapore Airlines was recently rated as the "Airline of the Year" in the annual Skytrax survey. UK-based magazine Airline Business has adjudged Singapore Airlines as winner in the "operations" category of its Airline Strategy Awards.2008, citing work done to ensure a smooth entry into service of the Airbus A380.
Another survey by a leading US-based magazine, Travel + Leisure, readers voted Singapore Airlines as the "best international airline" for the 13th consecutive time, in the magazine's 'world's best' awards 2008 survey. Travel + Leisure claims a readership of almost five million.
