Mumbai: As part of its expanding international operations, Jet Airways, is now all set to launch its Dubai service from 23 August. Jet, India's largest private carrier, said it will launch one daily, direct flight each from Delhi and Mumbai.

Company officials said an Airbus 330-200 would be deployed on the proposed route.

With the launch of this service, Jet Airways will also become the first Indian private carrier to fly to this middle-east business hub.

Jet Airways, which made its international debut in August last year with a Mumbai-Brussels flight, currently operates flights to overseas destinations such as the US, the UK, China, Canada, the UAE and south-east Asia, amongst others.

The airline also has plans to launch a service to Saudi Arabia this winter.
