JetPrivilege, the frequent flyer programme of India's largest private airline, Jet Airways, has won a string of highly coveted awards at the Freddie Awards, which recognizes the world's outstanding frequent flyer programmes. The awards won by Jet Airways included the Programme of the Year, Best Customer Service, Best Elite Level, Best Affinity Credit Card, Best Bonus, Best Website and Best Award.

JetPrivilege also received the second position in the categories of Best Member, Communications, and Best Award Redemption.

The Freddie Awards are considered to be the 'Oscars' of frequent flyer programmes across the world and are based on the opinions and votes cast by frequent travelers.

Commenting on the honour, Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, chief executive officer, Jet Airways, said, ''On the occasion of our resounding victory at the Freddie Awards 2007, we would like to reaffirm our commitment to providing our JetPrivilege members the best in comfort, benefits and privileges, in keeping with their expectations from India's largest and best loyalty programme, be it in the Indian or international skies.''

On winning the Freddie Awards, Sudheer Raghavan, chief commercial officer, Jet Airways, said 'It is the constant feedback, support and encouragement we receive from our JetPrivilege members that drives us to excel, constantly innovate and offer the best of services. Thank you for making us a winner'

JetPrivilege now becomes a Freddie award winner four times in a row; and winner of the 'Programme of the Year' award for the second consecutive year. JetPrivilege is also the only frequent flyer programme from India to win the maximum number of awards from the Japan, Asia, Pacific and Australia region.

In the Programme of the Year category, JetPrivilege scored 8.91 on a scale of 1 to 10, and 25.7% of the popular votes, as compared to just 2.95% of the popular votes received by its nearest competitor.
