New Delhi: With Delta and Northwest announcing their decision to merge, operations to India for both airlines could also see certain changes being affected. Both the airlines operate daily flights to India.

While Delta has a daily, non-stop flight on the Mumbai-New York route, Northwest operates to the US  in a code-share arrangement with Dutch carrier KLM.

While Northwest operates daily flights to Mumbai, those to Delhi are operated by KLM. Both these flights have a stopover in Amsterdam.

The marketing of flights on both routes is handled by KLM.

All three airlines are part of a global airline grouping called SkyTeam.
