Jet Airways to target US West Coast - services to start by February 2008

San Francisco: After offering a spate of services on the India-US-Canada-East Coast sector, Jet Airways is all set to launch its services to the US West Coast. Airline sources say that the modalities are being worked out but the company expects to commence flights by mid- to late-Feb 2008.

Jet's 53 destinations include most of India's big cities as well as nine destinations outside the country. International destinations include Kathmandu, Colombo, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Heathrow, Brussels, Newark, New York and Toronto, Canada.

Jet Airways was the first private airline in India to start services to international destinations.

Currently Jet's services from the East Coast include flights between Newark and New Delhi, which began Aug 2005, followed by Toronto – Chennai (Sept 2005) and recently JFK-Mumbai (Oct 28 2007).

These are daily services and transit via Brussels.
