Speaking at an NBAA breakfast gathering, Dassault CEO Charles Edelstenne has said that the order book at Fassault Falcon has had very few cancellations, and remains ''solid'' in the face of what he called a ''significant slowdown'' in the US and Europe over the past few months.

Edelstenne said that Dassault has sold 500 aircraft worldwide over the past three years.

Dassault has delivered 18 Falcon 7Xs to customers so far, and has over 100 at different stages of construction.  It says the fleet leader has logged 1,300 hours and 600 landings.

The eightieth aircraft is presently under final assembly at Dassault's facility in Merignac, France.

Former Canadian Aviation Electronics, now known as CAE inc., a provider of simulation technologies, modelling technologies and integrated training services to airlines, aircraft manufacturers, and defence customers worldwide, has trained around 170 Falcon 7X pilots and 250 technicians, at its facilities in Morristown, New Jersey and Burgess Hill, England.
