Le Bourget, Paris: Boom time is at hand for business jet manufacturers at the Paris Air Show this week, as increased corporate profits and, also, frustration at security delays at mainstream airports is now translating into increased orders for their products. As Airbus and Boeing announce a stream of large orders, business jet manufacturers are keeping pace with large orders of their own.

Cessna has announced that it has landed a major order from NetJets and NetJets Europe valued at more than $1 billion. The deal is for 96 Citations (50 Encore+, 37 XLS+ and nine Citation Xs).

Bombardier has announced firm orders for six Learjets from UK-based Skytime, while Dassault Falcon has said that it has entered into an agreement for twenty 2000LXs with Saudi Arabia's National Air Service.
