Air Arabia to start daily flights to Ahmedabad

Dubai: Air Arabia, the first low-fare airline in the Middle East and North Africa, will start daily flights to Ahmedabad, India from April 3. Ahmedabad will raise Air Arabia's network to 33 destinations in just three years of operations.

According to the airline it will fly daily to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad from April 3 departing from Sharjah at 11:55pm and arriving in Ahmedabad at 4am, then departing Ahmedabad at 4:45am to arrive in Sharjah at 6am.

Air Arabia's chairman, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Mohammad Al Thani, said: "This is a momentous occasion that further enhances our commitment to this market by introducing our seventh destination in India.

"As pioneers in aviation in the Middle East, we are delighted to offer our customers the opportunity to fly to Ahmedabad seven days a week and will continue to expand our network to more destinations."
