ESA’s Jupter Icy Moons Explorer set for mid-2022 launch

The 6-tonne satellite will first be placed in an Earth escape orbit in a direction to Jupiter before starting a journey of 600 million kilometres that will take 7.5-years, and the spacecraft will finally enter orbit around the giant planet in October 2029
