MetLife India launches Met Suraksha - a term assurance plan

Bangalore: MetLife India Insurance Company Private Limited, the Indian affiliate of America's largest life insurer, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, has launched Met Suraksha — a non participating term assurance plan.

Met Suraksha is a pure protection plan providing the highest cover at the most economical cost. The sum assured is payable in case of the death of the policyholder during the term, with no maturity benefits. Met Suraksha provides no cash value.

Met Suraksha is a term assurance with no frills. The plan is open to the varied age group of 18-60 years. The policy expires at the age of 65. The sum assured can range from Rs.50, 000 onwards with no upper limit. Choice of the policy term varies from 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years and level term to age 60. The base premiums are eligible for tax benefits.

According to Suraj Kaeley, chief marketing officer,"With Met Suraksha, we provide our customers with flexibility of choosing a life insurance plan with the input of minimum cost from our customers end."
