Bajaj Allianz Life policies crosses one million mark

Mumbai: Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company, which has emerged the fastest growing private sector life insurance company in India has announced having issued its one millionth policy.
The company's performance has placed it in the number one slot in terms of being the fastest growing life insurance company with a 250 per cent growth.
According to Sam Ghosh, country manager, Allianz and CEO, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company, "It is our customer focus driven policy that has enabled us to reach this landmark position. The positive response that we have received from all our valued customers has propelled us to great heights and has gone on to strengthen our resolve to make available our insurance products in every nook and corner of the country."
Bajaj Allianz currently ranks first (as per September 2005 IRDA results) among the private life insurers in the country, having catapulted itself from the No. 6 position in 2004 to the second position, according to IRDA's end of August 2005 results. Its stated GWP growth is over 360 per cent.
