UCO Bank revises domestic deposit rates

Kolkata: UCO Bank has decided to revise the rates of the interest payable on domestic term deposits for certain periods as well as on NRE term deposits.

The revised rates, to come into force from 12 August 2002, are: 5 per cent for deposits of 15 to 29 days; 5.25 per cent for 30 to 45 days; six per cent for 46 to 90 days; 6.25 per cent for 91 to 179 days; 6.5 per cent for 180 to 364 days; 7.25 per cent for one year to less than three years; and 7.5 per cent for three years and above.

For NRE term deposits, the revised rates are: 6.5 per cent for six months to less than one year; 7.25 per cent for one year to less than three years; and 7.5 per cent for three years and above.

For senior citizens, an additional 0.75 per cent over and above the normal rates shall be applicable for one year and above.
