ICICI Bank customers can now purchase railway tickets online

Mumbai: The customers of ICICI Bank can now buy railway tickets online without the use of a credit card. The money for the tickets will be debited from the customer's bank account.

The service will be available through the website () of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, a public sector unit owned by the ministry of railways.

The online railway ticket booking facility uses ICICI Bank's Internet banking service for the payment option, thereby permitting the bank's customers to pay through their bank accounts.
