Indian airports test laser guns to avoid bird hits

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Gujarat, India, is planning to install laser guns in a bid to scare birds away from the area.

The laser guns are to be installed at the airport on a trial basis and, if successful, will replace existing liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) scare guns.

The laser guns have also been tested at India's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at Mumbai
