Vijaya Bank ups FCNR deposit rates in all three currencies

Bangalore: Vijaya Bank has raised interest rates on FCNR (B) deposits in all the three currencies that it accepts.

For US dollar deposits, the interest rates for a maturity period of one year to less than two years is 1.15 per cent, up 0.5 percentage point. For two years but less than three years to 1.85 per cent, it is up 0.25 percentage point and for three years, it is 2.55 per cent against 2.25 per cent earlier.

For British pounds, it has been increased to 3.50 per cent for one year to less than two years, 3.90 per cent for two years to less than three years and 4.15 per cent for three years'' maturity.
