Bangalore: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has opened a specialised branch in Bangalore to cater to corporate clients with a credit limit of Rs 3.5 crore and above.

Named mid-corporate branch (MCB), the new branch will provide focussed services to a number of its clients. The branch, located on MG Road, a hub for business and trade offices in the city, hopes to reduce the delivery time for credit through specially-trained officers.

Opening of MCB is a sequel to PNBs efforts to provide specialised services. It has already opened two large corporate branches - one each in Delhi and Mumbai. The MG Road MCB will be the first of its kind in south India.
