Geometric to pay 1:1 bonus

Hyderabad:
Geometric Software Solutions declared a bonus of 1:1 shares
and declared a dividend of Rs 5.50 per share, up from
Rs 4 per share last year, subject to approval of the shareholders.
The company's consolidated revenues for the year ended March 31, 2004 increased by 28 per cent to Rs 112.38 crore (Rs 87.71 crore), while net profit has grown by 22 per cent to Rs 20.84 crore from Rs 17.05 crore.
Consolidated revenues grew by 37 per cent to Rs 32.03 crore for the quarter ended March 2004 compared to Rs 23.43 crore for corresponding previous quarter.
On a sequential quarter-on-quarter basis, consolidated operating revenues grew by 13 per cent to Rs 30.91 crore for the fourth quarter compared to Rs 27.29 crore for the preceding quarter.
The
consolidated revenue increased to Rs 32.03 crore (Rs 29.58
crore).
Net profit increased to Rs 5.34 crore (Rs 4.80 crore),
representing an increase of 11 per cent.
Operating
profit increased by 11 per cent, though net profit saw
a sequential decrease of 12 per cent over Rs 6.09 crore
posted in the quarter ended December 31, 2003 due to a
decline in other income.
