Sybase appoints a director of sales in India

Delhi: Sybase Inc. (NYSE: SY), a leading provider
of enterprise infrastructure and mobile software, has
appointed Balaji Jagannathan as director of sales for
India and the sub continent. Jagannathan has over 13 years
of experience leading sales and operations for enterprise
software companies focused on information management and
business intelligence.
Jagannathan says, "Indian enterprises are ready to deploy new information management and mobile computing technologies that allow them to improve business results by delivering the right information to the right people, at the right time and place."

Prior to joining Sybase, Jagannathan worked for Computer Associates India as the national manager for information management solutions for the SAARC region. In addition, he worked at SGI, leading its business intelligence line of business, and SAS India, where he directed the manufacturing, retail and fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries for the SAARC Region.
