Chennai: HMA STARware has launched eDCI (enterprise delivery channel integration) process for banks in India.

eDCI enables streamlining of banks’ multiple delivery channels such as ATM (automated teller machine) and POS (point of sales), e-purse and kiosks. It will also enable banks to have single-customer identification across all delivery channels, says HMA chairman and managing director Harish K Murthy.

Murthy says through eDCI, HMA plans to have a major market presence in the retail delivery segment. “While multi-channel banking is becoming a necessity in Indian banking, providing customers with common banking services across all touch-points has become critical.”

eDCI helps banks in tracking a complete single view of customer profile information when transactions are performed by the end-customer through any delivery channel, he adds. “This, in turn, promotes retention strategy, superior customer services and effective opportunity to increase customer base.”

HMA vice-president (marketing) S V Krishnamurthi says IDBI and Bank of Punjab already have implemented eDCI.
